True Mastery can only be Appreciated Against the Dark Backdrop of Widespread Incompetence

Wisdom and prudence are characteristics of someone who has arrived at a position of mastery in this world.  Those who maintain a disparate and undifferentiated zeal for making themselves known to others most often are underneath the illusion that their skills have a need to be proven to those with whom they have taken to task in the public eye and have dismissed the wisdom of the ages which governs all of man's affairs.  True mastery not only studies a skill or craft, but presumes not to be governed by its own self-interest, but rather to be governed by the interests of the many, and of the fates.  True skill is never to be profaned nor made into the golden calf of the masses, but instead is to be sheathed and made ready for the occasion that calls it forth by necessity.  An age of prudence would transform the face of this world in myriads of different ways - but the only way for a society that has made foolishness its opium to learn such difficult and deep knowledge is through experiencing the harsh realities that attend a life devoid of principled and directed focus and attention to the minutia of the world that we inhabit.  When the well being of a society has descended to the depths and has lead many to the harsh and cruel caves of despair or the cliffs of envy and deceit, and such is then besieged by terrors and unknown enemies which have not been seen before, it then follows that such persons are at the mercy of the righteous who have set in their hearts an interest in the pursuit of that which is beyond all human sufficiency, and who appeal to the realm of the gods and of the wisdom of those who have gone on before to not only deliver but to set forth a standard for the masses such that those with an interest in the promotion of the general wellfare of the world might be given opportunity to fully realize their aspirations in the promotion of valor and glory amongst the living.  It is in times such as these that games such as the following trailer of Warframe show forth in all of their glory and splendor the art of appealing unto the Gods, and the art of humbling oneself before the world in order that this world might know the powers that forged its very existence in spite of its common hatred and profane contempt for the divine:
